What is the Mission of the Sociedad Criónica ?.
We start from the fact that an organization, like our association, is nothing more than a structured group of people who coordinate their efforts to carry out a specific mission with limited resources.
Life and Health are two universal basic needs and rights for our species. These rights must be guaranteed through public safety and health systems. The Sociedad Criónica is an independent citizen initiative of the Third Health Sector, to complement the work of general interest of the public and private sectors, promoting and defending the rights to Life and Health of patients and citizens in general.
The first objectives of the Sociedad Criónica are to educate the Society, fostering critical thinking, about Human Cryopreservation (HC) and work to solve the legal, economic, technical, logistic and scientific difficulties related to HC.
HC, also called cryonics, is an experimental medical treatment. Its purpose is to satisfy needs of general interest: to live, and in a healthy way. To do this, HC allows to stop the metabolic activity of people with terminal diseases, derived or not from aging, until it is possible to reverse the HC process, cure their diseases, and optimize their health. That is, live with excellent health.
In order to carry out the Mission of the SC, strategic plans are drawn up periodically, integrated by Planning, Financing and Communications.
